My part of the lachance famille also comes comes from orleans. my father is hilleard lachance of massey and his father henry lachance. My uncle reg has 17 volumes on our family which was commissioned by the drouin collection (spelling little off) a long time ago very little of their collections exist and are being looked for since most were hand written and taken from vital statistics. good suggestion for a site with additional info is http://www.lachance.org/lach ance/lachance.html
